MERIONAL 75 IU VIAL (MERIOFERT) also known as Menotrophin and Meriofert is a medicine which is used in female infertility and male infertility. MERIONAL 75 IU VIAL (MERIOFERT) ® ivf fertility contains a hormone called human menopausal gonadotrophin(HMG). In conjunction with HCG is indicated for multiple follicular development (controlled ovarian stimulation) and ovulation induction in patients who have previously received pituitary suppression. MERIONAL 75 IU VIAL (MERIOFERT) works by helping the reproductive organs in both males and females work normally. It provides follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) that help stimulate healthy ovaries to make eggs. This medication is usually used in combination with another hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin-hCG) to help you become pregnant by bringing about the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation). Is Meriofert the same as Merional?

All medicines should be stored away from children.Before mixing, the powder may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated (2°C-25°C / 36°F-77°F) away from light and moisture until expiration date. Use immediately after mixing. Discard any unused portion of the vial.
The use of MERIONAL 75 IU VIAL ivf fertility may cause harmful over stimulation of the ovaries. If you experience pain or swelling of the abdomen, weight gain, difficulty breathing, increased thirst, decreased urine output, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, tell your doctor immediately. Very rarely, allergic reactions have been reported after treatment.
To date there are no signs of risk of teratogenicity when gonadotrophins are used clinically for ovarian hyperstimulation. Data on exposed pregnancies are insufficient. Animal experiments did not reveal teratogenic effects.
